Kaylee Killingsworth — Chandler


Kaylee Killingsworth is so honored to be a part of this new work's birth! Kaylee is a performer, teacher, writer, and clown. She studied at Collin College and The University of Texas at Arlington, graduating in 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Studies. She's taught at various youth theatre organizations in DFW including North Texas Performing Arts, Junior Players, and currently, The Acting Studio. Some recent performance work in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex includes Firehouse Theatre's LITTLE WOMEN as Meg March and the sword-slinging Clarissa, as well as an ensemble member of Imprint Theaterwork's BLOOD BROTHERS. Her last undergraduate performance at the University of Texas at Arlington was a red-nosed romp of devised clown pieces called "To Be or Not to Be: This Too, Too Sillied Flesh." She's very excited to wear the red nose again while working with the Laughter League as a Clown Doctor.

Rebecca Luby — Ainsley


Rebecca Luby is delighted to be joining the cast of beyond perfection. She has been in shows such as BE MORE CHILL, MY FAIR LADY, HELLO DOLLY, AVENUE Q, SHREK THE MUSICAL, and more. She would like to thank her family and friends. I hope that you enjoy the show and put on perfection!

Antonio Thomas — Aiden


Antonio Demonde Thomas hails from Grand Blanc, Michigan. He has been in the theatre scene since the age of 14 and has performed theatres around the country. He earned his degree in musical theatre performance from KD Conservatory under Michael Serrechia. He has recently started in AVENUE Q as Princeton, FIRST DATE as Aaron, LEGALLY BLONDE as Professor Callahan. He has also been featured in GUYS AND DOLLS as Sky Masterson and nicely nicely Johnson. He is a key member of the synth-rock band “Kyser" and 80's cover band “Urban Gypsy". His future lies in the theatre as he looks forward to a massive season of performing with North Texas' greatest actors and crew and soon Hope’s to write a show of his own, and maybe direct as well.

Andres Reyes — Brock

Andres Reyes is BEYOND excited to originate the role of Brock in this wonderful production! He would like to thank God and his Mom, as well as Kenady for this amazing opportunity. He is a Junior at the Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy where he studies theatre. He would like to thank everyone for coming to see the show and he hopes you enjoy!

Nancy Lopez — Kate

Nancy Lopez is thrilled to be a part of the creation and reading of Beyond Perfection. Nancy graduated from UT Arlington with a focus in Music Business. She now works as a private voice and piano teacher as well as a Cantor and Soprano Section Leader for St. Patrick Cathedral. Favorite Credits include: SOPHIE, MASTERCLASS (Brick Road Theatre); BETTY HAYES, WHITE CHRISTMAS (Artisan Center Theater); 2nd LADY, THE MAGIC FLUTE (UT Arlington Mainstage). She has also had the privilege to perform with other theaters and companies like the Fort Worth Opera, Lyric Stage, Stolen Shakespeare Guild, Goode Time Carolers, Onstage in Bedford, Garland Summer Musicals, and Theatre Arlington. Nancy would like to thank her parents for their love and support!

Margaret Vogel — Madame President

Margaret Vogel is so excited to be in her first original musical! Most recently, she was seen in the roles of Mrs. Snoring Man/WHITE CHRISTMAS and Mrs. Squires/THE MUSIC MAN at Stolen Shakespeare, as well as Bea/THREE DECEMBERS at Painted Sky Opera and the ensemble of Kiss Me Kate at Irving Mainstage. Additionally, she has had the privilege of playing the role of The Wife/JUNIPER TREE at her alma mater, Oklahoma City University (from which she has an opera and music theatre degree), and Virtue/ANYTHING GOES at ACT. A big thank you to her parents, her OCU family, and especially everyone involved with this production!

Michael Breath — Fenir

Michael Breath is a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Drama and he is very excited to be a member of this original production. This is his first time working on an original work. Some of Michael’s previous credits include Gruesome Playground Injuries, Alice in Wonderland, Biloxi Blues and film credits include Unsolicited Visit and Sleeping in Plastic. He wants to thank all of his friends and family for their continued support. BOOMER!!

Matthew Martinez — Ryan

Matthew Martinez is an actor and playwright currently studying Theatre Performance at the University of North Texas. He has performed in three productions at UNT so far: HANDS ON A HARDBODY, I GELOSI, and more recently, THE MEMORY PROJECT. Beyond Perfection will be his first off-campus show since attending university, and he is excited to be a part of the original cast of this wonderful new musical!

Marissa Pyron Rico — Cleo

Marissa Pyron is a recent graduate of SMU where she received her BM in Vocal Performance with a Minor in Musical Theater. She has been in numerous shows around Dallas including the role of Evelyn in the world premiere of ONE WORLD REVOLUTION at OhLook and SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD at NTPA Repertory Theatre. She has also performed in operas while at SMU, playing the role of Leila in the SINGING VIOLIN. She is currently a personal trainer and sings with a cover band around the Dallas area. 

Bryan Smith — Ensemble


Bryan Smith recently graduated from the University of North Texas in December of 2018 with a BA in theatre performance. During his time at UNT he took advance acting courses such as Acting Realism, Musical Theatre, and Theatre Movement.He was also in the production of IMAGINE at UNT. In high school, he was involved in theatre and he has done shows such as LES MISERABLES, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, ALL SHOOK UP, and ARABIAN NIGHTS. He is very excited to be making his professional debut in Beyond Perfection.

Candace Alexander — Ensemble

Candace Alexander is a recent graduate from the University of North Texas with a B.A. in Theatre - performance concentration. She was last seen in several production at UNT including roles such as Catherine de Medici in I GELOSI and Diane/Ensemble in HAIR. 

Charlie Anthony — Ensemble


Charlie Anthony, originally from Rowlett, has been seen in several productions in DFW such as, HEATHERS, SHREK, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and GREASE. Charlie is so incredibly excited to a part of this brand new musical and can’t wait for this show to be brought to the stage! A HUGE thanks to everyone who has supported Charlie throughout the years. Katelyn Anderson — Ensemble

Katelyn Anderson is excited to be in this original creation. This is her first time being a part of a new musical, and she has loved the creativity and work process! She graduated from Sam Houston University, Magna Cum Laude and received a BFA in Musical Theatre. You might have seen her as Dulcie in THE BOYFRIEND at Firehouse Theatre. She appeared in other productions such as KISS ME KATE (Ensemble)  BEAUTY AND THE BEAST ( Ensemble/Principal Swing), TAPE (Amy), MARY POPPINS (Mrs.Brill/ Ensemble) DAMN YANKEES (Meg), and MISS RUBY’s CABARET (Hannah) at Six Flags. Katelyn would like to thank the leadership team, the cast, and crew of Beyond Perfection for being so supportive and welcoming! She wouldn’t be here without the love and support of her family, friends, and God!

Lakeia Shaneen Smith — Ensemble


New York born, Lakeia Shaneen Smith is an accomplished singer, songwriter, music director and vocalist. She started singing at the tender age of 5 and began writing her own songs at the age of nine. Before heading to St. John’s University in her hometown of NY to study, she found a second passion in music directing and began teaching and directing her first youth choir at the age of 17. After graduating from University, she began to tour overseas in Europe and Asia, as a soloist and part of an gospel ensemble, where she met her now husband, Emanuel Smith. When not touring overseas, she and her husband would perform in NY, DC, Virginia and the eastern coast. While here in Dallas her recent credits include music director of Nina Simone FOUR WOMEN at the Jubilee Theatre in Fort Worth. She played the “Angel” in BLACK NATIVITY at the Bishop arts Theatre and most recently Mrs. Mallet in CORPS BELLS ARE RINGING. She gives God all glory for being able to do what she loves and is passionate for. She is very thankful for the opportunity to be apart of this wonderful cast and musical.

Sofia Warren — Ensemble

Sofia Warren is Beyond thrilled to be in her first ever musical! You may have seen her dancing in the DFW area with Texas Ballet Theater or Ballet Frontier of Texas. As a dancer her favorite roles have included: Ugly Step Sister in CINDERELLA, Dewdrop Fairy in THE NUTCRACKER and Corps de Ballet in GEORGE BALANCHINE’S SYMPHONY IN THREE MOVEMENTS. A former dancer with Ballet Arizona, Sofia returned home to undergo surgery after a serious injury. Without this injury she never would have realized her passion for Musical Theater. Many thanks Kenady Shope, the whole cast and the creative team for a warm welcome to the world of Musical Theater. To God be the glory!

Scarlett O’Hare — Dance Captain, Ensemble

Scarlett O’Hare was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She’s 20 years old. She started dance training at the age of 6, and has an AAA degree in Musical Theatre. She graduated KD Conservatory and trained with Michael Serrecchia, Mark Mullino, & Paula Morelan. She’s super excited to be part of the original cast for a brand new musical that has never been done before! She’s a ballet teacher for children, and has done shows such as CHICAGO, PIPPIN, HAIRSPRAY, and ONCE UPON THIS ISLAND.

William Tennent Cheek — Ensemble

WILLIAM TENNENT CHEEK is a transplant performer, writer, and general artist hailing originally from California. He is excited to be working on an original musical for the very first time! His devotion to the stage has run deep in his life starting all the way from elementary. He is currently working on two projects of his own adapting The Gods of Pegana by Lord Dunsany and the movie Cats Don't Dance into musicals. His favorite shows he's performed in are SHREK (Pinocchio/ Temecula Performing Arts Company), AMERICAN IDIOT (Ben/ Fine Arts Network), AIDA (Ensemble/ Firehouse Theatre), and RAGTIME (Willie Conklin/MTD). William T. Cheek is so honored to be a part of a show that pushes the medium of musical theatre forward!

Michael D’Andre Childs is an accomplished Director, Music Director, Composer, Playwright, Choreographer, Producer, and Actor who is blessed to once again to share his gifts in DFW. Originally from San Antonio, Michael made his Dallas debut in 2015 and has only excelled since, having numerous opportunities to display his many talents. Most recently his Live Entertainment Company, Artists Unplugged began filming a new Internet Game show called, What’s That Song. Some of his other credits include: LAST NIGHT IN BLACK HISTORY (Director/Choreographer), THE ROCKEFELLER CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR at the Majestic (Music Director), SWEATBOX REFUGEE DANCE CONCERT (CoDirector/Choreographer), LEGALLY BLONDE JR. (Music Director), AVENUE Q (Music Director), FIRST DATE (Assistant Director and Music Director). TILL (Director/ M.D.), AS WE LIE STILL (Choreographer), A GOOD MAN (Director/M.D.), RENT (Tom Collins/Assistant M.D.), EDGES (A.D.) and countless others. Michael is forever grateful to God for these opportunities and for the relentless love from his close friends and family.
