Kenady Sean Shope is a one-stop shop for everything to do with musical theatre. Kenady recently graduated with an MBA and a BS in Music Business from Dallas Baptist University. In March 2016, she released her debut EP, “Let’s Get Real,” alongside a music video of the single “One More Song to Hate.”  During her time at DBU she won awards in performance, music business, and composition. She also received the Texas Business Hall of Fame Scholarship and was selected to present a thesis in a 2016 honors symposium. Kenady has also performed in many professional and professional quality theatre productions. 

 

Her most notable performances include an Off-Broadway appearance as Samantha in the production of Circle of Friends in New York, playing Alice in Alice in Wonderland at Casa Manana, and playing Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown at DBU. Kenady enjoys combining her love of performing and songwriting and she is currently producing an original musical, Beyond Perfection. Kenady seeks to be a light in the world, and to use what her family, friends, professors, and mentors have taught her to impact the musical theatre industry.

Arranger and Composer

 

Emily Horton is a master’s student studying music composition under Dr. Blaise Ferrandino at Texas Christian University. In May 2018, she graduated summa cum laude from Dallas Baptist University with her bachelor’s of music in music theory and composition. She has worked as an accompanist, studio musician, arranger and orchestrator as well as working with worship bands, singer/songwriters, and church orchestras. In the spring of 2018 Emily premiered her Mass in A, a setting of the five movements of the mass for choir and string ensemble, electric guitar and harp, and also collaborated as music director, accompanist and arranger for the music ensemble of the musical premiere, Beyond Perfection, by Kenady Shope. After graduating from TCU, she plans to pursue a dual career as a film composer and classical composer, while continuing to play piano as a studio musician on the side. Emily is from Austin, TX.
