KENADY SEAN (lyricist, composer, bookwriter, and owner of Kenady Sean Productions) Kenady is currently working on three musical projects other than Beyond Perfection: a musical retelling of Nathanial Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter, a children’s musical and an all-women show set in World War II. The Scarlet Letter Musical was a SheNYC Festival semi-finalist in 2022. Kenady graduated with an MBA and a BS in Music Business from Dallas Baptist University where she received the Texas Business Hall of Fame Scholarship.

KAYLEE KILLINGSWORTH (bookwriter, and lyricist) Kaylee’s writing was featured locally in DFW at a short play festival The Guinea Pig. In addition to writing, Kaylee works as a medical clown with The Laughter League. At UTA, Kaylee contributed to the University’s 2016 Immigrant Consciousness Symposium: Symposium of Decolonial Art, Theater, and Theory. Additionally, she worked as a practicum Dramaturg for 3 shows with the UTA Maverick Theatre Company. She graduated in 2017 from UT Arlington, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre & Theatre Studies.

Emily Horton is a master’s student studying music composition under Dr. Blaise Ferrandino at Texas Christian University. In May 2018, she graduated summa cum laude from Dallas Baptist University with her bachelor’s of music in music theory and composition. She has worked as an accompanist, studio musician, arranger and orchestrator as well as working with worship bands, singer/songwriters, and church orchestras. In the spring of 2018 Emily premiered her Mass in A, a setting of the five movements of the mass for choir and string ensemble, electric guitar and harp, and also collaborated as music director, accompanist and arranger for the music ensemble of the musical premiere, Beyond Perfection, by Kenady Shope. After graduating from TCU, she plans to pursue a dual career as a film composer and classical composer, while continuing to play piano as a studio musician on the side. Emily is from Austin, TX.
